All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST (cost of delivery is excluded, see guide to delivery costs below). All prices quoted are subject to change without notice.
We offer a ‘Pay on Pickup’ payment option; this should only be used by customers who will pick up their order from our premises in Olinda, Victoria.
If we are unable to fill an order or are temporarily out of stock of a particular item, we will contact you by phone and/or email and offer you the option of swapping the item with an alternative, delaying shipping until the item is back in stock, or refunding that item from your order (refunds are processed quickly).
Secure payment processing
This website accepts Visa or Mastercard using eWay, a leading Australian secure payment gateway company. Payment can also be received by PayPal, Direct Deposit and Electronic Funds Transfer (please include the invoice number when you transfer funds electronically). Payment may also be made by cheque; in the case of a cheque being dishonoured, an accounting fee of AUD$15 plus GST and any other charges that the bank on-forwards to Wild Patch Chocolates will be charged to you.
Invoices are emailed to you when you place an order; we do not include a printed invoice with your delivery.
Orders are sent only within Australia. All orders to be shipped must be prepaid; however, we offer a free ‘In Store Pickup’ option for customers who wish to collect their order from our premises in Olinda, Victoria. Customers who do so must contact us to arrange a suitable time for pickup.
All orders are packaged very carefully to ensure they arrive in excellent condition, in polystyrene boxes with ice packs to maintain a safe temperature for the chocolates. Orders are generally shipped Monday to Thursday to ensure your chocolates are not held up in unsatisfactory storage conditions over the weekend. If your order will be delayed beyond this, we will notify you by phone or email.
Transit time is generally 1-2 days (by 'Premium Courier Service') and shipping costs are calculated on the dimensions and/or weight of your total order (see 'Shipping fees and estimated delivery times' below). Where possible, orders received will be dispatched within 2-3 business days. In very hot weather conditions, you will be contacted regarding delivery which may be delayed until temperatures are less severe. If any items are temporarily out of stock, you will be contacted by Wild Patch Chocolates.
Other conditions of delivery:
- Deliveries cannot be made to the Northern Territory (NT) and some remote locations; if an order to these locations is received, you will be contacted and your order cancelled.
- A street address must be provided as courier companies do not deliver to PO boxes.
- If no-one is available to sign for the delivery, the order will be left at the address. If the goods are not signed for, neither Wild Patch Chocolates nor the freight company will accept responsibility for damage, loss or missing goods.
- If an attempt is made to deliver goods however the address given is undeliverable, you will be contacted to provide an alternate delivery address and a re-delivery fee will apply.
Shipping fees and estimated delivery times
We offer two types of shipping service.
‘Premium Courier Service’ is recommended for our gourmet chocolate range and other delicate products that may be affected by high temperature. Your order is shipped in polystyrene boxes with ice sheets and its condition is guaranteed.
- overnight service to all capital cities and most locations (not available to NT and some remote regions of Australia)
- if you live in regional or outlying areas, your order may take an extra day to be delivered
- freight cost is a flat rate to all locations: $22 for regular box, $30.80 for large box, $45 for extra large box.
‘Road Service’ takes two or more days to most locations; includes Victoria, NSW, South Australia and Brisbane (for other locations, use ‘Premium Courier Service’ or request a quote to send by Australia Post Express Service). Road Service is only considered suitable in cool weather and for less temperature-sensitive products as delivery may take more than two days.
- Melbourne and Country Victoria, $14 for regular box, $16 for large box, estimated two working days
- Sydney, $14 for regular box, $16 for large box, estimated two working days
- Adelaide, $14 for regular box, $16 for large box, estimated two working days
- Brisbane, $14 for regular box, $16 for large box, estimated two working days
- South Australia (country regions), $14 for regular box, $16 for large box, estimated three working days
- NSW (country regions), $14 for regular box, $18 for large box, estimated three working days
- Qld (other than Brisbane), WA & Tas – select ‘Premium Courier Service’ or request a quote to send by Australia Post Express Service as delivery by ‘Road Service’ may take 4+ days and is not recommended.
Wild Patch Chocolates cannot exchange or receive returned goods due to the perishable nature of chocolate so please order carefully.
Damaged goods policy
Wild Patch Chocolates will replace any order that arrives in damaged condition sent by ‘Premium Courier Service’ or by ‘Road Service’ within the metropolitan area. Goods sent to an address outside the metropolitan area in all states or territories by Road Service beyond an estimated two days’ delivery time, sent to a postal box (by request), redelivered after a failed attempt or left at your property when no-one is present will be at the customer's risk.
Claims for damaged goods must be made within 24 hours of receipt of goods.
Acknowledgement and acceptance of Terms of Service
By accessing or browsing this website you agree to be bound by its terms, conditions, disclaimers and limitations of liability ("Terms of Service"). Wild Patch Chocolates reserves the right to amend or update such terms, conditions, disclaimers and limitations of liability at any time without providing notice to you. By using this website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Terms of Service.
Refunds or returns will not be made for perishable products already produced for an order, products or equipment acquired by us from a third party for your order, or products and equipment that have left Wild Patch Chocolates premises.
Cancellation of goods and services
If you need to cancel an order for chocolate products or chocolate supplies, please contact us immediately on (03) 9751 2576 or 0438 443 389. Once we have accepted payment for an order, cancellation is within our sole discretion.
We reserve the right not to provide goods or services, and to remove or edit content or cancel orders (or part thereof) at any time. Without limiting the operation of any other Terms of Service herein, we will not be held liable for loss or damage arising from the exercising of these rights.
If cancellation of class registration occurs more than 30 days prior to the date of the class, the amount paid will be transferred to a future date nominated by the customer, subject to availability and an administration fee of $50. All cancellations received 30 days or less (but more than 7 days), prior to the date of the class, will forfeit the amount that has been paid unless the forfeited places are subsequently re-booked, then the amount paid will be refunded (less a $50 administration fee plus any commissions paid). All cancellations received 7 days or less prior to the date of the class, failure to arrive for a class or failure to notify us, the full registration fee is non-refundable.
Gift certificates or vouchers for chocolates, classes or accommodation cannot be redeemed for cash, are non-refundable and must be used within the valid period printed on the voucher. They may be transferrable to other Wild Pach products at our sole discretion.

We have carefully chosen the companies used to deliver our products; however, there may be unintended delays in the delivery process despite their best efforts. We will work with our customers and delivery agencies to ensure prompt arrival of your order and request customers contact us immediately if there are any concerns about a missing or delayed delivery.
Your details are only used to process sales and to maintain contact with you. Credit card details are NOT recorded or held on a database, nor do we sell, rent or otherwise give your email or any other information about you to a third party. As a customer of Wild Patch Chocolates, you may receive information about new products or seasonal ranges; please call our office if you do not wish to receive this information.
